In the World (Global Missions)
The church is called to "Go into the world and make disciples of all nations" (Matthew 28:19). We are fully committed to support mission work overseas. Below are ways we are involved in global missions:
We support the following people with finances, prayer, encouragement, and care.
- Adrian & Sharon Thomas - Dominican Republic
- Jef and Renatta Walton - Village of Hope - Malawi
- Andrei & Tamila Shander - Mission Partners International - Eastern Europe
We partner with Compassion Canada to "release children from poverty in Jesus' name". Our children's ministry sponsors a child, as do many of our members. We encourage everyone in our church to sponsor a child (or children) in a needy part of the world. This will provide them with food, clothing, and education. This makes a tremendous difference in the lives of children and their families!
Occasionally, as need arises, we raise funds for special projects, including but not limited to humanitarian aid, building projects, water wells, community development, and education.
