What To Expect

We provide a fully staffed nursery for infants and toddlers (0-3 years), kid's church (ages 4-9) and junior high (ages 10-13). Our ministry staff are plan-to-protect trained.

After each service, you are invited to join us for coffee and refreshments. We know that meeting new people can be uncomfortable. We encourage our people to introduce themselves to our newcomers and we encourage you to do the same! We hope you'll have the opportunity to connect with some of our wonderful people in a pleasant and meaningful way. Reach out to our Pastoral Team if you need help making connections.

We celebrates Communion (known as the Lord's Table or Eucharist in some traditions) on the first Sunday of each month. All those who have put their faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour are invited to participate in this symbolic act of remembrance of Christ's sacrificial death for our sin. Ushers will serve the congregation crackers (as a symbol of Christ's broken body) and juice (as a symbol of Christ's shed blood). When everyone has received these emblems, we then partake together.

Dress is generally casual, though some people enjoy dressing up. We encourage you to wear whatever makes you feel comfortable while being mindful of creating a comfortable environment for everyone.

During each worship service, we take a collection which is a free-will offering of monies. We discourage giving under compulsion or a sense of duty. We believe that our people ought to give to the Lord as an act of worship and in obedience to God's Word which encourages generous and joyful giving. The monies received are used to support the operations and ministries of our church, as well as outreach to our community and overseas missions.

You will be welcomed at the door by one of our greeters. Our greeters are there to give you a warm welcome, answer any questions you might have, and help you find a seat, if needed.

If you have time before or after the service, visit our booth in the foyer where you will find information about church ministries and other activities.

Our Sunday morning services begin at 10:30 AM and ends by noon. On your first visit, we recommend you arrive 10-15 minutes early to give you a chance to speak to our greeters and get familiar with our facilities. This is especially true if you have children who need to be registered for Sunday School.

Our Sunday worship services are moderately contemporary. We have a worship band that lead the congregation by singing contemporary worship choruses, as well as some "heritage" songs (i.e. hymns and older choruses).

We are an evangelical church in the Pentecostal tradition. This means that the services are more informal and free-flowing. We encourage our people to be expressive in worship, which means that you will likely see some of our people raising their hands in worship. Every service opens with a welcome, scripture reading and prayer. Following a brief time for special announcements and a collection of monies (offering), we enter into a time of worship that is followed by the preaching of God's Word which is typically a challenging, relevant and practical message from our pastor. On occasion, there will be a time for response to the message that we refer to as altar ministry - this occurs after the benediction (word of blessing for the congregation as they are dismissed).
