A study connect group focuses on biblical-theological growth. The goal is growing in knowledge to foster maturity in faith. One member teaches the group and engages everyone in group discussion.
Connect Groups
Our church offers a variety of connect groups that you can join. We believe that people grow best when they are living in community with other believers, and that being part of an intentional environment encourages everyone to engage in a life-changing relationship with Jesus. We encourage everyone in our congregation to join a group that best suits their respective needs and interests.
Our life groups focus primarily on one of the three categories listed below, however every group will include elements of every category.
A social life group focuses on building relationships with fellow believers in the church and includes outreach to unbelievers. A social life group is generally a long-term commitment, with a goal to birth new groups within 1-2 years.
Support (Caring/Recovery Focus)
A support connect group focuses on offering support and strength for people in difficult situations, such as grief, abuse, addiction, marriage problems, and divorce. The goal is to foster a loving, caring community that provides hope and healing. The time commitment required for a support group varies depending upon the needs of the group. These groups are often led by a pastor or another approved expert.
