Note: Many of our life groups are on pause due to Covid-19. Please contact the church office or the life group leader for up-to-date information.
Our church offers a variety of life groups that you can join. We believe that people grow best when they are living in community with other believers, and that being part of an intentional environment encourages everyone to engage in a life-changing relationship with Jesus. We encourage everyone in our congregation to join a group that best suits their respective needs and interests.
Our life groups focus primarily on one of the three categories listed below, however every group will include elements of every category.
Study (Growth Focus) |
A study life group focuses on biblical-theological growth. The goal is growing in knowledge to foster maturity in faith. One member teaches the group and engages everyone in group discussion. A study life group is generally a short-term commitment of 8-12 weeks. |
Social (Relational Focus) |
A social life group focuses on building relationships with fellow believers in the church and includes outreach to unbelievers. A social life group is generally a long-term commitment, with a goal to split into new groups within 1-2 years. |
Support (Caring/Recovery Focus) |
A support life group focuses on offering support and strength for people in difficult situations, such as grief, abuse, addiction, marriage problems, and divorce. The goal is to foster a loving, caring community that provides hope and healing. The time commitment required for a support group varies depending upon the needs of the group. These groups are often led by a pastor or another approved expert. |
