All church services for the remainder of March 2020 are cancelled. Please be advised that, after having consulted medical experts and staying abreast of the latest news about the COVID-19 pandemic, the leadership of The Oaks deems it prudent to CANCEL our Sunday Worship Service for the remaining services in March. COVID-19 Update

The well-being of everyone who gathers for our Sunday Worship Service as well as other ministries throughout the week, is of upmost importance for us as a church. As such, we have taken appropriate measures to respond to the ongoing concern over COVID-19.
At this time, our Sunday service is scheduled to proceed as normal.

Rituals.
Marriage. Baptism. Communion. Child dedication.
Most of us partake in these Christian rituals simply because we have always done them. For some of us, our parents did them and so we did as well. For others, seeing everyone else doing them in church makes us feel obligated to go along with it.
But why do we do them? What does God's word have to say? Are they required to be a Christian? If we don't do them, do we lose our salvation?
