Fall Segment Calendar
August 9th, 16th, 23rd: Life Segment Commitment Forms and Life Segment Application Forms will be made available at the Information table in the foyer (or you can request it from me and I will email you one).
Life Segment Application Forms DUE! - August 30th
Application Forms must be handed in and approved for “Sign Up Sunday” 2009 posting!
Sign Up Sunday
September 6th, 13th, 20th: Postings of each group available will be provided with a sign up sheet located at a table under the Life Segment bulletin board outside the sanctuary.
Fall Life Segment Begins
Monday September 21st: Life Segment Week #1 begins.
Introductions Week
September 21st – 27th: Opportunity to welcome people to your group, present your goals and purposes and distribute any materials. In this first week you will review the expectations of safe Life Group practices and distribute the Life Segment Commitment Form only to persons who have never signed one. Please collect them to hand in to myself or any of the Life Council members. NOTE: no members of your group will be allowed to participate who refuse to sign this form. We can not take things for granted. Everyone must understand and agree to the expectations of safe Life Group practices. Forms available on the Information table in the foyer.
Teaching Weeks
September 28th – November 22nd: Allows you 8 consecutive weeks of teaching.
Segment Social Week
November 23rd – 29th: This week is designated our social week where all Life Segment groups are encouraged to do something fun and relaxing as a group. We also encourage you to consider using this time to invite unchurched folk. At this time your group may be visited by any one of the Life Council consequently our visit would not interfere with your regularly planned evenings.
Teaching Weeks
November 30th – December 20th: 3 more consecutive weeks of teaching prior to the Christmas season break.
Christmas Break / Social
December 21st – January 3rd 2010: In this busy time of year we want to give occasion for families, friends, festivities and travel. Life Segments will gather again in the New Year. Again reaching out to the unchurched at this time would serve as a great opportunity.
Segment Teaching Closing Weeks
January 4th - 24th: Final 3 consecutive weeks of teaching prior to the segment end.
Life Segment 2010 Forms Available
January 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th - NOTE: Life Segment Application Forms for the next Life Segment & Post Life Segment Leaders Feedback Forms will be available at the Information table in the foyer.
Segment Closure Week
January 25th – January 31st: Here you will bring closure to your segment group time. This is a great opportunity to get feedback from your members.

February 6th. This will be a time of sharing, where we wish to honour you our leaders with a dinner. J
