  • Wanted: Children’s Ministries is in need of Sunday School teachers and Nursery  workers for their Sunday morning programs. Please Contact Suzanne Wright or Jenn Duncan if you are able to join our ministry teams.

  • Life Segment #3:  Our third Life Segment of 2007/2008 will begin on the week of April 13th. Posted by the Life Group’s Bulletin Board are the Life Group’s details and Sign up Sheets. We would encourage you to be a part of our Life Group Ministries. If you need more information regarding attending or Leading a Life Group, contact Jim Sutherland at (519-631-0422). Sign up for Life Groups will be available Sunday, April 6.

  • Promise Keepers: “GAME DAY” Conference April 11-12th., at Faith Church in St. Thomas. See Men’s Ministry’s Bulletin Board for more details or call the church at 519-649-1662.

  • Art show and Sale: Sunday, April 13th. 1 Grosvenor St. (Apt. Building)-in the Social Room. From 6:00-9:00 pm. The monies raised from the Art Sale will go towards Bernie & Keri Orozco’s mission trip to Nicaragua

  • Card Making Class:  Monday, April 14th, 6:00—9:00 pm. At the Church. Contact Katharine Moore to sign up. (519-847-5738).

  • Water Baptism: Sunday, April 20, at 6:30 pm. There will be a Water Baptism service here at the Church. Anyone interested in water baptism, please contact the Church Office 519-649-1662.

  • Church Photo Directory: We will be producing a CITO PHOTO DIRECTORY and would like all members and families to have their portrait taken so they are included. These will happen May 1, 2, & 3 at Church in the Oaks. Colour photo directories will be released early summer and portrait packages will be available for purchase. Watch for more information and be getting your spring wardrobe ready!

  • Marriage Seminar: Focus on the Family “After Happily Ever After” marriage seminar is a one-evening event happening across Canada. It will be in Waterloo on May 5th. The cost is $15 per person. See the poster on the bulletin board. If you are interested in carpooling that evening, please call Dennis & Debbie at 519-675-0995.

  • The Truth Project: Coming Saturday, September 27, 2008 Church in the Oaks will be hosting a Simulcast Training event. The Truth Project, a new initiative of Focus on the Family created by Dr. Del Tackett, offers a systematic and comprehensive way to bring God's Truth to the people of your church and community.
